Pietersite, an exceptionally rare and captivating crystal, is predominantly unearthed in Namibia and China. Belonging to the quartz family, pietersite is essentially a silicified Riebeckite imbued with traces of Limonite.

Classified as a chalcedony stone, the pietersite manifests as microcrystalline quartz often occurring in jasper formations. What distinguishes Pietersite is its remarkable shimmering gold streaks, often intermingled with abstract swirls of color reminiscent of an impressionistic oil painting.
